It holds up nicely in the sun. It is durable and it has not discolored. The black UV‑Resistant foam works well for sealing gaps. It do not expand too much. This is a great value for this product.
Works great for sealing gaps around travel trailer underbelly (the chloroplast). This size can was perfect, would have taken at least two smaller cans.
This black UV‑resistant expanding foam works well for outdoor sealing jobs and I'm finding that it holds up nicely in the sun. I have a solid, watertight bond and it is a practical choice if you need durable foam that won’t discolor or break down outside.
I ordered this to seal around the base of a metal shed that I had built in my backyard. It was not the greatest quality shed, and I was worried about my stuff inside getting wet or having insects get inside. This spray foam sealant really does the trick to fill gaps and waterproof. I have not had a bit of leakage around my shed base since I used it. Very easy to apply and dries quickly. So many functional uses around the home and/or business you will want to order extra cans. It sprays on easily without clogging or making a mess. Stays sticky/tacky for about a day. After that it is as solid as concrete to touch.
I got this black spray foam sealant for sealing gaps, cracks, and seams around the garage and RV to block drafts, pests, and moisture. It’s meant to be a heavier-duty foam that expands to fill irregular spaces and stays flexible once cured, so it works for insulation tweaks and general sealing jobs. What Works WellThe foam expands nicely into cracks and crevices so you don’t have to fight to get it to fill awkward spots. Once it cures, it feels solid and helps cut down drafts and dust coming through tiny gaps in walls, around windows, or in utility areas. The black finish looks cleaner than plain yellow or white foam, especially in spots that stay visible. It adheres well to a variety of surfaces and resists UV discoloration better than basic foam, so it’s good for areas with some sunlight exposure. What Doesn’t Work WellBecause the foam expands as it cures, it’s easy to over-spray and get more than you intended if you’re not patient and careful with the trigger. Cleanup while it’s wet needs to be quick because once it hardens it’s tough to remove from fingers, trim, or tools. In very narrow gaps it might not expand exactly where you want it, so a bit of practice goes a long way in getting an even seal without too much overspray.Bottom Line SummaryThis black sealant foam is a solid choice for weatherproofing and gap sealing projects in garages, RVs, workshops, and around doors and windows. It fills irregular spaces well and looks cleaner than basic white foam. It takes a little care to apply neatly and is best used with some planning to avoid overspray, but once cured it helps lock out drafts and unwanted airflow in a way that feels both functional and tidy.
