I can't say enough good things about this spray foam kit. This kit included 12 cans of insulation. A can of cleaner. A foam gun. Gloves and goggles. Essentially every single thing you need to spray foam within minutes of opening the box.The instructions were easy to follow and the equipment was easy to use. Adhesion was stellar and the foam bonded to every single thing it touched. The phone quickly expanded and filled every little gap in the wall.A couple things worth pointing out with this product. First I could not find any documentation to find out if this phone was actually an open cell or a closed cell. I think it's all open cell. Next would be that the listing says it's 252 board feet of coverage. A board foot is defined as a 12 inch by 12 inch area 1 inch thick, so the 252 board feet is an equal equivalent to 252 square feet at one inches thick. This is obviously a polyurethane foam much like a gorilla glue. It needs moisture to be able to puff up. Buried in the directions it states after your first layer is cured you need to moisten the first layer to be able to apply a 2nd layer. I used a small little pump-up sprayer and just misted some water on, and that worked fine but if you try to do it without wetting the surface it may not expand properly.I was easily able to achieve the initial one inch thickness. In a few areas I wanted slightly thicker coverage and after a little trial and error I was able to get the hang of getting it to build up to about 4 inches thick. This product is not really meant to be durable it's meant to be covered by some kind of finished surface. I did not dig into the flame spread rating or smoke spread rating of the product because typically they're meant to be covered anyway.Overall I am super happy with it! It does take a little bit of trial and error to really get the hang of using it, but once you get dialed in you can get a lot of insulation put up in a little amount of time.I'm also very impressed that we were able to try an entire case, There's nothing worse than trying a new product and you only get one tiny sample size version that doesn't do anything. It's impossible to really get a feel for how a product works like that, so the fact that they were so confident to provide us such a large quantity to do a fairly large area really shows how much they trust in their product and I fully agree! This is a great product and at the current price offers a ton of value for DIY and pro users. Super happy with my finished wall.
The thermal insulation and sealing effects are truly impressive. After applying the product to wall crevices or in the attic, I could distinctly feel that the indoor temperature had become much more stable; the interior no longer heats up as easily in the summer, and it retains warmth more effectively in the winter. There was also a noticeable improvement in sound insulation; sealing up those small gaps helped dampen exterior noise to some extent. The coverage area of 252 board feet is generally sufficient for medium-sized projects—a single kit goes a long way and allows you to tackle quite a few areas. Furthermore, the kit comes with a comprehensive set of accessories—including a spray gun, cleaner, and basic safety gear—saving you the trouble of having to purchase these items separately. Overall, it makes for a relatively hassle-free experience. However, based on my actual hands-on experience, there are a few points I feel users should be mentally prepared for in advance. For instance, the preparatory work required before application is more extensive than one might initially imagine; surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned, and the ambient temperature needs to be within the appropriate range, otherwise the product's effectiveness will be compromised. Additionally, when spraying, it is crucial to carefully control both your speed and distance; first-time users may find it difficult to achieve an even application, which can easily lead to material waste.
I chose this kit because we like to do a lot of DIY work, and having materials on hand for smaller jobs or touch ups without needing to call in anything major just makes sense. This set comes with a good amount of large cans, and it feels like it is definitely geared toward someone who wants to handle their own insulation project themselves. The foam applies evenly and sticks well to OSB, particleboard, etc once you get the hang of the applicator, and it expands well to fill gaps and spaces. Like most spray foam, there is a bit of a learning curve at first, especially with controlling how much comes out to achieve the proper thickness of foam, but once you get comfortable it becomes much easier to work with. It is definitely something you want to use with proper prep and protection. The overall quality feels good and it does what it is supposed to do. For the amount included, it feels like a solid value, especially if you have multiple areas to cover. This is not something I would recommend for a complete beginner with no experience, but for someone familiar with basic home diy or construction work, it is a useful kit to have.
A coverage area of 252 board feet is generally sufficient for insulating a single wall or providing spot insulation in an attic. The foam expands quite effectively upon application, making it highly practical for filling gaps and sealing joints. After use, you can noticeably feel a slight improvement in both thermal insulation and soundproofing—an effect that is particularly pronounced in areas where drafts were previously an issue. The kit is quite comprehensive, including a spray gun, cleaner, and basic safety gear; you won't need to run around buying extra supplies, which makes the whole process quite hassle-free. Operation isn't overly complex, though—to be honest—first-time users will need a moment to get a feel for the proper spraying rhythm and distance; otherwise, it’s easy to apply too much foam or end up with an uneven finish. Furthermore, proper preparation is crucial; if you don't thoroughly clean the surface and mask off surrounding areas beforehand, you’ll face quite a bit of trouble later on. Finally, there is a noticeable odor associated with the product, so it is absolutely essential to ensure adequate ventilation and wear appropriate protective gear while working.

We recently remodeled part of our home, including a bathroom that shares a wall with the kitchen, and this kit turned out to be a really practical solution for adding insulation in that area. Having everything in one package made a big difference—12 cans of foam, the applicator, cleaner, and accessories—so we didn’t have to piece things together separately. The foam itself expands well and feels dense once cured. After drying, it became quite solid, which gave us confidence that it would help with both insulation and sound reduction between rooms. It worked especially well for filling gaps and covering areas that are usually harder to reach with traditional insulation materials. The applicator is straightforward to use, and once you get the hang of the flow, it’s easy to control where the foam goes. I’d recommend taking your time at the beginning to test the pressure and expansion, since it comes out quickly and expands more than expected. One thing I appreciated is that the kit includes basic safety gear. It’s definitely worth using it. The foam is sticky during application, and wearing gloves, eye protection, and working in a well-ventilated space makes the process much more comfortable. I’d also suggest protecting nearby surfaces before spraying, just in case.Overall, this felt like a practical and efficient option for a DIY insulation project. It saved us time and helped us finish that part of the renovation without needing extra materials.
